Scariest Moments

What was your scariest moment?
---
I remember one moment at a ship this summer when we were getting off it the crowd begun to scream and going backwards. I thought a crazy driver was getting in towards the people but was nothing like it. Just two companies were angrily just fighting. I thought that was the end of my life. It was relly scaring!
---
Hmm...probably when I thought I was going to get caught after having done something I shouldn't have. I'm not going to say what!
---
Too many to pick out one that is scariest.
---
Flying over the Dolomites through air disturbance in a very small plane.
---
Too horrible abuse to even talk about here
---
I'm sorry about the abuse and I hope you heal soon.
---
In recent years the most scary moment was getting an official-looking letter from the IRS -- and as it turned out, it wasn't a big deal. But the IRS is scary.

But people facing real danger -- that's something else.

probably being on a bus in thailand when armed troops came onto it, kinda intense. or realising there was a sandbagged machine gun emplacement on the river trip somewhere else in asia. kinda hairy. adam, chch new zealand, 05.oct.2006

I like to read about other people around the world.

Since you can now track oceangrams I realize there are a lot of jerks in the ocean. No wonder there were no old messages, people like to delete!!
---
I am sorry to read of anyones loss.
If this link helps to fill anyones void ~ so be it.

It is fun and relaxing and I am intetested in seeing what other people around the world are saying and are interested in.

---
it my only time that i can get away from things.
---
It is nice to see what others think on things. It is relaxing, and sometimes nice to know you arent alone in the hurdles you cross. It is nice to toss a bottle out there completely anon and not have to worry about it. I think this is a wonderful thing. Yup, I am addicted. :)
---
I just come on when my boyfriends doing other stuff, he's cooking at the moment (hehe I have him well trained). Or if i have nothing to do when I'm in uni....
---
listening to all you idiots that have nothing better to do
---
It does make you realize that most people everywhere want and feel the same things. I also think that a bottle will show up that will have something profound to say just for me!
---
I like the annonimity. Also I NEVER delete anything. IF I have nothing to add I just send the message on it's way.

Defining Moments

What was a "defining moment" in your life?
---
When I realized that my best friend was my soul mate
---
When I stopped expecting my parents to be perfect. I grew up that day and I was almost 30 years old.
---
I am still waiting for it. Hopefully it will come soon..............
---
My wedding day absolutely. I never understood the meaning of " walking on air" until that day, and actually experienced that sensation. Very euphoric.........and I might add, it was 30 years ago!!!

Teddy the Bear's Adventures around the World

,~~.,''"'`'.~~.
: {` .- _ -. '} ;
`: O(_)O ;'
'; ._|_, ;`
' -.\_/,.'`
This is Teddy the Bear. He lives in Seattle and likes going to the Space Needle, riding the ferries, and looking for driftwood on the beach.

Seattle is nice, he tells me, but he's ready to see the world!
"Oh, really?" I ask. "And what is your plan?"
"How about putting me in a bottle and tossing me into the virtual sea?" he says. "Wouldn't that work?"
Well, I told him that would be alright. I'm jealous, to be honest, because I'd love to go myself, and I'll miss him, but I know he'll have fun and tell me about all of his adventures!
He packed his little suitcase and got his best pajamas ready for the trip.
I told him I'd ask you all to take him to all the fun places and teach him about the world.
Ok, here he is! You all have fun. Take care of Teddy for me please!
And I want to read about everything you do and see.
Bon Voyage, Teddy!

Very cute!

---
very talented! I live in Olympia Washington USA

It travelled all the way to England. That's a well travelled teddy. May your journey continue around the world...
---
Oh gosh, this is the best Oceangram I have ever seen.
Teddy you are so adorable and I welcome you here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Earlier we took a horse and buggy ride through out Old Montreal and then later climbed the stairs up to Saint Joseph's Oratory. It was a truely fun filled day with you Teddy and now I must bid you goodbye to send you on to your next adventure. Have fun. :-)
I'm going to miss you.
---
Teddy spent a few days with me in Kentucky USA.
We visited Mammouth cave national park, where Teddy was a bit afraid, being so far underground. We also toured a bourbon distillery, but I wasn't sure Teddy was old enough to have a taste, so we settled for just a smell. We went to Churchill Downs and watched the beautiful horses race. (Teddy's $2.00 bet in the 5th race made him a cool $120.00). We also visied Abraham Lincoln's birthplace, and Daniel Boone's grave. Now it's time for Teddy to move on, but if he comes back to me, we'll find more fun things to do.
---
Teddy ia having great fun with me in San Francisco California. We did have to get him a jacket as it is a little cool here now; he looks so cute in it. We got it in Chinatown and it is a shinny red and he almost looks like a Chinese bear. We had some Chinese food for lunch and then rode the cable cars up and down the hills to Fisherman's Wharf. Did you know the cable cars are America's only mobile national monument? Teddy got a little scared but I just told him to hold on tight. We walked all around the Wharf and ate crate chowder in bread bowls. And we check out the big whaling ship and watched all the street musicans and bought San Francisco t-shirts. After the big day of seeing the city, we went to dinner at the Top of the Mark (big hotel here where you can see the whole bay area.) We had a fine dinner but we both were tired after our busy day so we went to bed early.
Teddy wanted to be off early so I after breakfast I gave him a big hug and kiss and sent him on his way.
---
Teddy had a great time tonight in Salem Massachusetts. 10/5/06
He helped kick off the Haunted Happenings Parade in downtown Salem. The Parade was a traditional parade that the residents in the city put on for all the tourists who visit this time of year.

Embarrassing Moments

What's the most embarressing thing that has ever happened to you?
Mine is when we moved into our new home that we built, the fences behind us hadn't been put up. But that was ok because no house was there. Anyway after a shower I ran into our rumpus room to find some clean clothes. Our rumpus room has three HUGE windows facing the back of our property To my horror, 3 builders were building that fence in full view of my curtainless windows, to see me in all my glory. I hid in my room for an hour!! I was mortified!
Skip EB
---
Well we had an underground wasp nest that happened to be right under our bedroom and the guy who was going to get rid of it was a friend and we were doing what husbands and wives do, and hadnt realised he arrived and was crawling underneath our very room while we were 'busy' NOW THAT IS EMBARRASSING and NO i'm not putting down my name!
---
I got into the wrong car at a drive in once and quickly handed the guy that was in there my tray of drinks and corndogs. When I saw his face, I realized that it wasn't my husband and I had to grab my tray back from him and beat a hasty retreat only to go 3 cars down. This was AFTER I had snatched a speaker off another car with my big 8 month pregnant belly trying to squeeze inbetween cars cuz I was in a hurry to eat my corndog! LOL That's why I had gotten into the wrong car cuz I was in a dither over that. My husband wouldn't take me home cuz he paid his money and he's staying!" and I was too embarassed to get back out of the car to use the restroom later on so I just sat right there in his car and peed my pants LOL LOL
---
You're sick. You people disgust me. I have never done anything as stupid as what you people have said.
---
never anything like those but its not sick just mishaps in life.
thank you for making me smile.

---
Thanks for the laughs.
I'm not telling mine...I have too many to decide which one to use!
---
*IMAO* I remember one rainy day my friend and I were talking about crushes then my friend pointed out that I'd look cute with some boy I knew from elementary school, so I got mad at her and attacked her with my umbrella then she slided all the way down the hill we were walking and her skirt was all wet like she peed on it :P (it was more embarrasing for her than it was for me) all the senior students were in fits :p
---
nothing embarasing that I can think Of or is it that thememory just dulls with age!! 70

A pap smear!
---
can't really think of anything as embarrassing as the above...
---
Great! Thanks for the smiles.
Just the other day, a group of boys were riding their bikes and wouldn't get out of the way of traffic. They were causing problems just to be 'cute'. I was the first car in line behind them and there were several cars behind me. I finally lost my temper and pounded on my horn. Well, my horn got stuck! It was blaring out on long BEEEPPPPPPPP! I had to drive like that to the next side street, park, and try to open my hood. My hood wouldn't open and the horn just went on and on. No one would stop and help me. People were standing in their doorways watching. And, worse of all, the group of little boys stopped across the street and were laughing so hard they were falling on the ground! christie Illinois

Embarrising momesnts are just that!!! Ones in which I will keep to myself! Thanks for SHARING! lol Idiana 6/06

Funny how the question is "How is your day going?" and everyone answers about the WEATHER! It's 6:28 in the morning here so I don't really know how my day is going yet....
---
Well, my day (September 13) is nearly over, it's getting dark already. It's been a good day, my husband is recovering from a knee injury and doing well, the weather has been warm and sunny and I've been to the hairdresser. So now I'm hoping for a few nice bottles, then I'll head for bed and do a few Sudokus. I'm completely addicted to them. And tomorrow is sports day at my school, so no classes for me, just a few hours outside in the sunshine. Sometimes life is good.
---
Good day here as well in Texas. Lovely weather and I got quite a bit accomplished today.

It's Sunday the 18th at 4:42pm and is warm but cooling. We are cleaning so I escaped here! It's beautiful here in NZ

And the bottle is back in Texas again! It is Sept. 21 and my day is going so-so. I don't feel well and I am getting whiney because there is no one to take care of me. So I will drink lots of fluids, take loads of vitamins, and just rest. I may even splurge and rent a movie on pay per view.

---
Well, Sept 21 in Maine, almost 11:00pm, end of the day for me, and a pretty good one. Hope this bottle finds everyone else well!!!
---

It's 1:30 AM, Sept 25, 2006 in Navarre, Fl. All my days are wonderful because I choose to make them that way. When my husband was dying 2 years ago, I learned the true importance of life. It's all about treating each other with love and respect. I wish you all a lifetime of perfect days.
